Standards: ATCON advocates and promotes high standard of performance and fair business practices among its members. It serves as the authoritative clearing house for the attestation of companies which meet minimum standards of business practices in telecommunications. Training: ATCON recognises the need for well-trained manpower for the industry and is actively engaged in policies that build industry personnel capacity and enhance qualitative training. Buyers’ Guide: ATCON provides information about its members, the services they offer and the strength of their organisation and other information which seek to promote their businesses within and outside Nigeria. Business Connections: ATCON brings together a large number of indigenous and foreign telecommunications companies for possible joint ventures and other mutually rewarding relationships. ATCON establishes business links between member-companies through formal and informal interactions. ATCON promotes co-operation between member companies and relevant government establishments, especially the telecommunications regulatory and policy-formulating agencies of government.
